OUR MISSION
Ever since we opened our doors in 2018, we had one goal in mind - offering our visitors a comfortable, affordable and all around decent accommodation while supporting the local town of Ahungalla.
Our mission is to inspire and educate the citizens and visitors of Ahungalla to be able to preserve and respect the beautiful surroundings and culture of the small city through education, cultural events, international green projects and voluntary programs.
We cooperate with our local operating NGO partner from Denmark, Copenhagen Vibration, that is in charge of our international programs and projects.
THE KARMA RACE
In January 2019 we introduced our first KARMARACE in cooperation with Danish NGO Copenhagen Vibration and the local jungle resort, Junglebeach Camp Ahungalla. By initiative from Copenhagen Vibration in Denmark our team started a fundraiser in December reaching a total amount of 1880 US DOLLARS in January. We then drove around the poor areas of Ahungalla and donated family foodpackages for over 100 famillies. The packages included 5 KG rice, 2 KG dahl and 3 soaps. This was just a beginning. As a part of our KARMA Concept we are doing KARMARACES throughout the year to support the local citizens of Ahungalla by spreading good karma and inspiration through donating food, school materials, clothes and sports equipment. We also invite our visitors to join our KARMA WALK where we pick up trash and plactic from our beautiful beach, thats good karma!
